I have a few questions was hoping someone might be able to answer. What are the odds of losing hair when taking topamax? Does anyone know if there is a larger percentage than normal of ex-military people requiring topamax? Does topamax have any sexual side effects? is weight loss an automatic thing, or can it be prevented?

I am tapering off of Topamax after 7 years. Seven very stupid, dull, confusing, almost completely destroyed my career years!!!! I can see color. I can see depth and detail. I can recall names and put the appropriate words with the correct meanings. I feel the clouds clearing away soooooo rapidly. My hair is growing back in and I do not have to spend hundreds of dollars on hair extensions anymore. I never realized what I had lost. For those that need to stay on and are loosing their hair, I used 3000mcg of Biotin a day. It reduced the hair breakage tremendously. But check with your doc first.

I am a neurologist and I have just released a headache diary app called iHeadache. It tracks medications, disability, and symptoms. Importantly, it prepares reports to assist your neurlogist to improve your care. We could use a programmer to work with use on iHeadache Web. Contact me if you want to work together.
You may also want to read about migraine treatment options on my website www.bellaireneurology.com. There are lots of choices besides topamax. God luck with your headaches. Good luck on your headaches. Also, good luck with your programing even if you decide to not work with us.

I have seen a couple apps for iphone, neither one fit the standard of what my Doctor at Mayo Clinic wants me to write in my diary. If you are interested, when you get to it let me know. I will send you a list of what he expects to see in my writing based on the book/diary he gave me or are too plain. A little face with levels of pain seems to be the most helpful tool in that booklet so far for me since I am visual!
Great idea, since I do not see any decent apps out there for this, jump to it before it is too late! If you need help with copywrites, etc, I can put you in touch with a company I know about.

If it is possible for you to build close relations with the employees you have problems with in a matter of 2 months or even less, then do so. As it is, your kind of work is not conventional so you can just suck it up, he-he.

I think this is a great idea.. although do you think so that it could help the most amount of people you could make it about generic pain? This way everyone with pain, whether it is back pain, migraines, fibromyalgia, etc could use it.
Otherwise, in the mean time, there is a free app in the app store called "Care Connection," that lets you track some health information.
